We had our wedding in Maryborough hotel couple of weeks ago and was fantastic!!!
(wish to do it all over again)
Everything from the staff to the food and gorgeous gardens was 5 stars and more!!
Staff is so friendly and so easy to deal with food was absolutely amazing and the hotel itself is beautiful, especially orangery room where we had our ceremony.
We recommend Maryborough hotel and spa 100%! We had 90 guests at our wedding and all of them were so happy with the venue and everyone said the food was amazing.
And for ourselves, we can't wait for our one year anniversary to go back and spend time in this beautiful hotel.

From viewing the Maryborough Hotel for the first time in December 2016 and meeting with Martina, myself and Dave knew that the Maryborough was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The whole team at The Maryborough from Martina, Orla and Ellis were an absolute pleasure to deal with and made the planning of our day very easy and gave great advice to us on the ideas we had for the day.
The wedding day itself ran very smoothly and that's all thanks to Ellis. Our guests spoke very highly of the venue after the day, the food was excellent and the main function room is ideal with plenty of space and no need to move tables to accommodate the band. The one thing that makes the Maryborough so special is the Orangery where the drink reception is held and this room was the main selling point for us when we viewed the hotel and our guests were amazed with this room on the day.
Another plus with the Maryborough is the location that the hotel is situated, we were able to use the beautiful grounds and the hotel itself for our wedding photos.
We cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and staff and we had such a fantastic day on our wedding in the Maryborough. Thanks so much for making our day so special :)

Myself and Patrick got married in December 2017 with our reception in The Maryborough Hotel.

We would 100% recommend this hotel to other couples planning a wedding.The staff, The Orangery, The Sherrard Suite, the food and the accommodation were all outstanding.

Ellis was our wedding coordinator; she was a dream to work with. Nothing was a problem for her, she was a great help from the moment we booked right up to the day. On the wedding day itself, Connor and his team were so professional and he saw that the whole reception ran smoothly. The food in The Maryborough was outstanding. All our guests commented on how fabulous the meal was and just how impressed they were with The Maryborough as a wedding venue.

I cannot recommend this venue highly enough! It was the most amazing day from start to finish and each and every one of the staff played a part in making it so special. The service we received was fantastic - from the day we booked the wedding, to the night we did our tasting, to everything in the lead up to the big day. We had our ceremony in The Orangery which is the most beautiful setting. Ellis was our wedding planner and she was fantastic! She was so efficient on e-mails and calls. Nothing was too difficult and her enthusiasm and friendliness added to our experience. The food was outstanding - several of our guests commenting that it was the best piece of beef they had ever tasted!! I wish there were more than 5 stars to give on this review!

I got married to my partner Stephen Power the end of January 2018. We had the best day ever and the Maryborough Hotel made it the best day ever. The went above and beyond with every detail on our day to make it an extremely memorable and happy occasion. Their guest service was amazing throughout the day and everyone was looked after and told us after how great the hotel was. I would highly recommend the hotel for a wedding or any event. The food was so beautiful and amazing quality. They were so good to cater for all our requests. Great hotel in a great location

The maryborough was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff went above and beyond to assist us and to ensure the day ran as smooth as possible. Ellis and Conor were the perfect hosts. Ellis was in contact regularly leading up to the big day checking final details and on the day itself ensured everything was in place. Conor continued checking in with us throughout the wedding meal and reception to ensure we were happy with everything. I cannot fault the staff, the customer service we received or the venue itself. What can we say, from start to finish the Maryborough team made our wedding journey so special, intimate, personal and easy.
Special shout outs to Conor and and Ellis as it was mostly they who had to deal with countless emails and worries.
We had nothing to worry about. From the minute we arrived to the hotel on the day they just took over and everything ran so smoothly (if all too quickly!!!)
All our personal touches were evident to see and nothing we asked was too much hassle. From pictures to signs to sweet carts they did it all and exactly as how we had asked.
The drunk reception was stunning and something many of our guests complimented. The meal was devine and promptly served. They even went so far as to surprise me with battered sausages as a joke during the speeches!!Bonus points there!!!

I really can not recommend the Maryborough enough for any newly engaged couples. They are experts in their craft and their attention to detail is flawless. I only wish we could go back and do it all again!!

From the moment we stepped in the door to view the Maryborough for our wedding, we were struck with the amazing atmosphere, grounds and class of the hotel. It was the easiest decision of our whole wedding to book the Maryborough!

Ellis, Conor and the team could not have done more to make our day as special as it was. We built up a great relationship with Ellis and the hotel staff prior to our day and this added to our experience.They were extremely accommodating with our requests (no matter how big or small) and made us feel at ease from the get go.

The food was beyond perfection (not just the main meal-the food at our drinks reception and later in the night were equally as exquisite)

We highly recommend this hotel as it was a real comfort for us knowing and trusting that Ellis and her staff were top class at what they do.

Myself an my husband got married in Maryborough on the 13th of July 2017. From the day myself and Chris walked in the door of Maryborough to view the hotel as a potential venue, all members of staff have been extremely helpful, kind and supportive.

In the lead up to the wedding Martina kept us calm every step of the way, she is extremely organised, efficient and also has a great sense of humour and she is very easy to get on with. We had total confidence in Martina the whole way through the process and we feel she went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We were extremely lucky to have her as our wedding planner.

Since the wedding many guest have said to myself and Chris that throughout their stay in Maryborough they felt they received 5 star treatment from all members of staff. Maryborough is such a beautiful venue ( especially when the sun is shining!) but it is the staff that make it such a great place to be.

So from myself, Chris and all our guests a huge thank you to you all for helping to make our day so special and memorable

We had a wedding reception at the Maryborough Hotel & Spa on the 29th of June, 2017. We had an amazing day and this was purely down to the excellent and highly professional work ethic that Martina demonstrated from the very moment we contacted her in early February. Martina did her utmost to help and this was greatly appreciated as we were organising our wedding while Emin and I were in Azerbaijan. She was there for us when we were trying to bring together the elements that helped personalise our wedding, which made it even more special e.g. the projector so we could show Irish and Azerbaijani music and film clips during the wedding meal, a long table for an Azerbaijani display and staging of traditional caucasian dances in the wedding hall. If we had a question, she was able to speak to us on Skype and would reply promptly to emails and calls. Because of her, we were able to successfully stage our wedding in the space of 5 months. Martina's most special qualities are her sincerity to help, listen and put people at their ease. She became a good friend.

On the day, we were expertly looked after by Nicole. She was able to notify us if something needed to be done and from the guest reactions they all thoroughly enjoyed the Orangery, gardens and the meal in the hall. It was truly a pleasure to have had our reception at the Maryborough and it is a place that we continue to go back to as they do not just simply treat you as a customer, but as a friend.

We had our ceremony and reception in the Maryborough House Hotel in May 2017. All of the staff went above and beyond to give us a very special day. From the day we met Martina I knew we were in good hands, we had some special requirements and Martina just waved her magic wand and made it all happen. All emails were answered quickly if we had any questions and we were always greeted with a smile when we met. Martina is extremely professional and efficient but with warmth and friendliness and she instantly gives you confidence in her ability.
On the day, we got to know the amazing Nicole. She made sure everything ran smoothly and looked after us so well throughout the day. Nicole doesn't just manage the day she goes way beyond making sure the couple are treated like royalty. In the evening Dave the night manager was great and again nothing asked of them was too much trouble.

I would highly recommend the hotel and gardens for photos. We now have a beautiful wedding album. Our ceremony was just stunning in the orangery and the reception room was so beautiful.

All our guests were highly impressed with the food throughout the day and evening. The quality was second to none.

Overall a 10/10!!!

From the day we booked our wedding date with The Maryborough Hotel & Spa to the wedding day itself, we were never without someone at the end of an email or phone to help with any questions we had. Our wedding co-ordinator Martina was absolutely fantastic and we would highly recommend her to any future couples getting married in the hotel. The Maryborough is the perfect backdrop for a wedding with the amazing gardens and The Orangery which made for fantastic photographs. We had our ceremony in The Orangery and it was such a romantic room to say our vows surrounded by our family and friends. The staff were on hand throughout the entire day to ensure that not only us but also our guests had an enjoyable experience. The food was exceptional and our wedding guests are still saying it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to and this is down to the hotel staff; the food/wine; the band and of course Martina. We loved our wedding day so much that we would do it all over again and this is mainly down to the hotel and staff being so great. We would recommend The Maryborough Hotel & Spa to any wedding couples still looking for the perfect venue and to those who have booked their wedding day in the hotel, you're in for an amazing day

Just want to say how wonderful Maryborough Hotel and Spa was for our wedding. The staff are incredibly helpful and were always available for any questions, large or small. Martina in particular was so pleasant to deal with and we felt that the staff genuinely cared about our wedding ad much as we did.
The venue speaks for itself but every member of staff at every level went the extra mile. Even members of the bar staff remembered us from a lunch visit a few days prior to the wedding and made a point of saying hello to us on the day itself also. It was those personal touches that really made it all the more special.
I can honestly say that the venue was the one element of the wedding that didn't cause a single element of stress as I knew that everything would be done well and with the same level of care and attention that I would put into it myself. I can't recommend
