The family-owned and operated 4* Dromhall Hotel has been hosting weddings for over 50 years now. What sets us apart from other venues is that we have a whole team of friendly and helpful staff dedicated to making your special day perfect for you. Nothing is too much trouble and no detail is too small. Our award-winning Head Chef receives amazing - truly amazing - feedback for his wedding food. Brides & Grooms and guests alike cannot speak highly enough of him and his team.

Our beautiful Shelbourne Suite has been re-furbished to an exceptional standard. It's very bright, light and spacious. We can host weddings from 70 to 340 guests. If you are having a small, more intimate gathering, we have other venues within the hotel - or next door at our sister property, Randles Hotel - which are perfect for smaller groups. We offer 3 inclusive packages or you can put together your own package from our range of menus.

For all of our weddings we offer the following with our compliments: red carpet and champagne on arrival for the bride & groom; chair covers & silver sashes; centre pieces; a choice of cake stands + knife; microphone & PA system; personalised menus; bar exemption; wedding menu tasting prior to your wedding; use of our chauffeur-driven wedding car (may be subject to distance) complete with a lovely picnic hamper for the 2 of you to enjoy during your photo shoot; complimentary Bridal Suite + 2 other guest rooms (subject to a minimum number of guests); 1st Anniversary dinner in the hotel.

Our guests are still talking about the attention t

I cannot say enough good things about Dromhall Hotel. They are extremely professional in everything they do. Any queries I had on run up to wedding was dealt with efficiently by Ciara no matter how many questions I asked her!! On day of wedding itself Michael could not do enough for us. Our guests are still talking about the attention to detail and the amazing food. I would highly recommend the Dromhall Hotel they made everything and everyone so relaxed. I know our guests will be talking about the Dromhall Hotel for some time to come.

Just Amazing

From the very first meeting we had at the Dromhall we knew that we were in the right place. The decor of the function room is beautiful plus the layout with dance floor and bar works brillantly. The room is a good size with loads of natural light. The colour scheme is neutral. Ciara and mike are a great team. Very professional yet easy going nothing is a drama. Every idea is listened to. Always responded to emails call etc. Notes taken of all our requests and we were given a copy of these to confirm few days prior to wedding. The value for our wedding package was just amazing honestly you will not find a quality hotel that will beat it. Location of hotel is perfect. If your thinking about the Dromhall you won't regret it.

Our day was exceptional.

We came home from Australia to celebrate our wedding August 2016 in the Dromhall Hotel in Killarney and we have to say everything was excellent. Mike and Ciara couldn't do enough for us both before the wedding and on the day. All the guests complimented us on the amazing food and staff. Mike went around to every table to make sure every guest was happy. We can't praise the hotel enough. Thanks again to all the staff at Dromhall Hotel for making our day exceptional.

Best day of our lives!

We celebrated our wedding day in the Dromhall Hotel Killarney and what can I say - fantastic! It was perfect from start to finish. Michael, Ciara and the staff could not do enough for us. All our guests are still talking about how good the hospitality was and the food. It was the best day of our lives, as we had our ceremony and reception there. I would highly recommend the Dromhall hotel they made everything and everyone so relaxed and I think people will be talking about the Dromhall hotel for a very long time. Thank you so much to all the staff for a fantastic day and night, we could not have asked for better.

Venue, food & accommodation all first class

We had our wedding in the Dromhall Hotel on the 18th March this year and had the most beautiful and enjoyable day here. The staff were very helpful, dedicated, attentive and hard working. Michael was amazing on the day.The venue, food and accommodation was first class. We had a lot of people travelling to the wedding from outside Killarney, and they all felt that it was a brilliant hotel, the staff were very professional and welcoming, and the food was excellent. We could not recommend the Dromhall Hotel highly enough for future brides and grooms.

All the guests commented on how nice the food was

Got married recently and my husband and I decided to hold our reception in the Dromhall Hotel, Killarney. We cannot say enough about the hotel, the food, the atmosphere and the dedicated staff. Having visited a lot of the other hotels in Killarney, my husband and I both felt they lacked something in terms of atmosphere and friendliness. The moment we set foot in the Dromhall, we knew we were sorted. Michael Talbot, the manager, was down to earth, friendly and couldn't do enough for us from day one. The food was amazing and we got a fantastic package! All of my guests commented on how nice the food was and how helpful the staff and management were. For anyone who is looking for a venue in Killarney, The Dromhall hotel ticks every box without a doubt!

The food here is the best we have experienced

Can't say enough about Mike and the team at the Dromhall hotel, from the moment we first met them to the day after the wedding when we checked out they could not do enough for us and nothing was ever a problem for them - this team knows what they are doing and how to make your day special. The venue, food and accommodation was first class, we had a lot of people travelling to the wedding from outside Killarney and each person commented on how great the hotel was and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff plus the high standard of food. We had attended others weddings in the Kerry area and we believe the food here is the best we have experienced - we would have no problem recommending this venue to future bride and grooms for their big day - they would be in safe hands.

Our wedding day was the most beautiful enjoyable d

My fiancè Aidan and I decided to have our wedding reception in the Dromhall Hotel,Killarney after being very badly let down by a Hotel in Tipperary.This let down meant we had to postpone our wedding date for a year. The disappointment we felt was indescribable. However now we know the meaning of the saying that everything happens for a reason. Moving our wedding reception to the Dromhall Hotel,Killarney ended up giving us a wedding day we will never ever forget.It is the most beautiful hotel we have ever had the pleasure of being in and dealing with. Our wedding day was the most beautiful enjoyable day here.The atmosphere was amazing,the interior was just stunning,the food was out of this world and most importantly the kindness extended to us from the start of wedding planning ,through to our wedding day and even through to the end when we left to go home by the hotel staff was just overwhelming. To sum up,you gave us our dream wedding day reception,one that has left us with very happy special memories and we thank you for that. Well done and we sincerely wish you and your dedicated hard working staff continued future success.

A million thank yous

Matthew and I had our Wedding Reception at the Dromhall Hotel on Friday the 14th of February 2014. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived at the Dromhall Hotel to discuss our wedding plans with Bernadette Randles we immediately felt at ease and were made to feel very welcome, it was a seamless process. The Hotel as a wedding venue was spectacular, the staff were magnificent and the service was truly excellent - very professional - indeed service was top class throughout.
It is always extremely difficult to single out one individual for special mention in such a professional organisation like the Dromhall Hotel but Matthew and I feel that we have to single out Mike Talbot for Man of the Match!
Mike Talbot is one of the most skilled professional fellows in the
hospitality industry in Killarney – we will be forever indebted to
Mike for his generosity of spirit, his astute calmness, his sense
of humour and wicked laugh .
We say a million thanks to all of the staff from the
bottom of our hearts. All said and done, it was a
tremendous performance by the Dromhall Hotel
Management and Staff – way over and above
the call of duty.

Just the best experience

The Dromhall provided myself and my husband the best experience. Everything from the service, food, layout of reception, accommodation was 100 percent. The help I got from Sue Ryan the wedding coordinator was superb. She made planning so easy and made my wedding the way I wanted it. She made me feel so at ease. All managers were exceptional and all were very helpful in the day. All guests loved everything about the hotel and raved about the exceptional food and how good service was. Had no bad comments from anyone. I would recommend this hotel to anyone getting married. I would rate my experience a 5 star with this hotel.

Over the moon

Both Liam and myself would like to thank you so much for such a beautiful job ye did for our wedding reception. We were over the moon with the final results and how stress free and relaxed the day went. The banquet hall looked amazing with all the finishing touches and the food was just out of this world. All our guests commented on how good the food was and the fact that there was so much especially the second servings.
All your staff were so professional and they ensured that everything went so smoothly.
The present of champagne flutes was a lovely touch and we love them.
Ye did so much for us we can't thank ye enough, it was an amazing day and I will be highly recommending ye to all our friends and family that will be getting married in the future.
Thank you again for such a lovely day and a wonderful service, we’re over the moon with the results. Just wish we could do it all again.

Exceptional

The team at The Dromhall Hotel Killarney were exceptional in the planning, preparation and delivery of the most special day of our lives, our wedding day on Saturday 10th May 2014. The timings all being preplanned by the Dromhall Hotel team prior to the big day, made everything even more perfect. The drinks were served efficiently so all guests were constantly 'topped up', but the most amazing part of the whole Dromhall experience and in which my 228 guests continue to praise and discuss was .....their wedding breakfast meal. Totally flawless.
The wide variety of choices which were available for our guests, all served on time, piping hot and absolutely delicious. The Chefs and their teams were A1 in their delivering a fantastic meal creating fantastic memories for all of our guests. Well
done.

Brilliant

We had a brilliant wedding reception at the Dromhall hotel recently. The service from start to finish was outstanding. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The food at the reception was amazing and all our guests were commenting on it throughout the night. There is nothing that I would have changed. Both myself and my new husband would have no hesitation in recommending the Dromhall Hotel to anyone in the future. It is a fantastic wedding venue and you will be extremely well looked after.

I would recommend this hotel a 100 times over

We recently had our wedding reception at the Dromhall Hotel. We are based in Australia and when choosing a venue I was very conscious that I wanted somewhere that would make communication from overseas easy. From the moment I contacted the Dromhall the service was excellent. Every email was answered within hours and the help they provided in determining how much food, wine etc we would need was brilliant. We spent the night before the wedding at the hotel. While getting ready on the morning of the wedding I must have called reception ten times for different little bits and pieces - every request was responded to immediately and they could not do enough for us. One of my greatest concerns was food - I really wanted to ensure our guests had good quality food and plenty of it. Again this was an unnecessary worry - the food was fantastic, it was piping hot and there was an abundance of it. There is very little I would want to change about our wedding day. One area that was perfect was the hotel. It was just so easy - there was no stress, the staff were fantastic and having a dedicated person to deal with (Sue) was perfect. I'd recommend this hotel a hundred times over.

Outstanding

The hotel did an outstanding job. We had many guests from the US, England and all over Ireland, many of which stayed at the hotel. They thought the service, staff and accommodations were outstanding. As the bride it was a pleasure working with the hotel staff - everyone was professional and knew their jobs. I felt very confident that they would do a great job and they did. The food at the wedding was outstanding. Everyone commented to me that it tasted great, it was hot and there was plenty of it. Many commented that the Salmon was the best they every have eaten. The staff took great care in setting the room up, it looked absolutely beautiful. I wish I could do it all over again.
