  Amazing from start to finish !!!

  Well what can we say about the lord bagnal! There is not enough words we could say that gives the bagnal the recognition they deserve. Sue our wedding coordinator is just professional from start to finish from the moment we met her we where just so excited about our journey nothing was ever to much trouble for her she catered to every question or suggestion we had and was always very quick at getting back to us and we hope the bagnal realises what a massive asset she is to the place and deserves one heck of a bonus! Nial was just superb as well what a guy he is nothing was ever to much on the day he got what was needed done in a quick and professional manner along with a sense of fun and warmth he brings as well and the rest of the staff where all amazing with a few guests unfamiliar with the bagnal the staff showed the place at its finest from the bar service to the food to the rooms and much much more would I recommend absolutely and more! And if I could do it’s all again we completely would

  Amazing venue

  From day 1 of planning we couldn't have asked for more from sue and niall . They went above and beyond to make sure we had every single detail of what we wanted to make our day complete . Sue was always on the other end of an email to answer our questions or give advice no matter what day or time . Every member of staff were truly amazing . We would highly highly recommend the Lord bagnal for a wedding

  We met sue in July 2023 she was so friendly & welcoming. There and then we decided the lord bagenal was for us. Every email I sent to sue throughout the 13 months of planning was answered very promptly. Sue and Niall met us 2 days before the wedding and couldn't be more helpful with planning the layout of the room. On the day I arrived they both met me and put my mind at ease, the place looked so beautiful and our ceremony ran so smoothly. The reception ran so smoothly also and the staff and the service was exceptional not to mention the mouth watering food. All in all I rate this hotel a 5 start experience for our wedding day

  Wedding day 6 July 2024

  'Just a perfect day' words from the Lou Reed song. And this is what our wedding day was in The Lord Bagenal, 6 July 2024. Our party of 60 people was hosted in the top bar. The drinks service was second to none and as the guests mingled to a background of jazz and a hurling semi final no one had to sneak off to view it elsewhere. And as hurling enthusiasts ourselves we were very happy that our guests were all there.
  
  And now on to the 'backbone' of any festivity, we had the food. Delicious platters of Canapés - mouth watering chicken satay skewers, vegetarian spring rolls with a dip, smoked salmon with brown bread, rare roast Irish sirloin on a garlic ciabatta, and goats cheese tartlets. Platter after delicious platter arrived out and dispelled any thoughts of hungry guests!
  
  The kids were also wonderfully looked after with traditional hand made chicken goujons, cocktail sausages, and sandwiches. The staff worked seamlessly and the service was exceptional. Nothing was a problem. Our bespoke wedding cake was served at desert and as the early afternoon headed towards evening and the jazz wound down we were so happy with such a perfect day. We would highly recommend The Lord Bagenal as a wedding venue.

  Super in every way!

  We can’t say enough good things about our experience with the Lord Bagenal Inn. Sue and Niall were so helpful and nothing was too much to ask. The food and service on the day was better than we could have imagined. Having our wedding in the Lord Bagenal really made it a stress free and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

  Great wedding venue

  Great team at Lord Bagenal. Very accommodating. Food is fantastic, so many people complimented it. Lovely fresh flowers in lobby and Marina room. Small hotel so ensure your guests book rooms quickly. Hotel is excellent at providing list of other accommodation options to guests if no rooms available.

  We got married in Feb 2024 here. The staff and service was amazing. Our guest are still complementing us on the food and wonderful service.The hotel was so flexible with food choices we could have exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price.We also had a civil cermony at the hotel Sue and Niall took all the pressure away on the day their professionalism put us both at ease. We were so happy we booked this venue.

  The lord Bagnal

  From start to finish the staff at the lord bagnal Sue in particular were so helpful and accommodating to any of our requests. The attention to detail was excellent the room decorations, the food were all fantastic and everyone had a great day would highly recommend them.

  Wedding Sept 2023

  We recently had our wedding reception in The Lord Bagenal, everything ran so smoothly, nothing was a problem, the food was fab, the room was decorated beautifully and the staff were so attentive. We wouldn't have changed a thing about our day and are so pleased with chose the Lord Bagenal
