Nestled in the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains you will find the magnificent Powerscourt Estate.

Powerscourt House dates back to the early 1300's and although it has changed over the centuries it is still filled with warmth and old world charm. Powerscourt House is truly unique and the gardens are just breathtaking!

The double height Georgian ballroom in Powerscourt House is adorned with stately columns & ornate plasterwork on the ceiling. The Garden Rooms overlook the vista of the formal gardens and the panoramic view of the Wicklow Mountains.

Our Wedding & Catering Partners, Feast Catering, will guide you through the planning process from linen, flowers, lighting, wines, menus and even the evening’s entertainment. Coupled with their expertise in producing the most sumptuous food to their excellence in service we guarantee the best in producing dishes to the highest standard using only the best of ingredients.

All our menus include canapés on arrival, starter, main course, dessert, freshly brewed organic tea and coffee with homemade petit fours. All of our ingredients are from local artisan producers and our chefs take pride in creating high quality dishes. Our wines have been carefully selected to bring out the best in our food.

Met all our expectations!

Growing up in Australia i could only have imagined having my wedding in a venue like Powerscourt House and Gardens.

From the moment you arrive, you know you're in for a treat. With spectacular gardens, a breathtaking ballroom and exceptional service, Powerscourt really delivers on all aspects of your special day.

Powerscourt House not only gave us the day we had been dreaming of, but also allowed us to be stress free and really enjoy every minute of our special day.

While our guests enjoyed the Champagne Reception and delicious canapes in the Garden View rooms, we enjoyed our time wandering around the immaculate gardens and creating memories of our own. From the Japanese Gardens to the Pepperpot Tower and the view of Sugarloaf Mountain, you'll be sure to have an equally amazing wedding album.

While all of this is important, our day wouldn't have been so amazing without the support and help of the events coordinator and staff on the day. The service from the moment we booked the venue was exceptional and didn't stop until the night had finished. No request was too much, and our vision for the day was captured and executed perfectly.

We cant thank you enough for helping us to achieve the wedding of our dreams. Our guests are still talking about it.

Simply Spectacular

Thank you for a simply amazing wedding for Naomi and Mark.
The whole day was simply spectacular and we all thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

A sincere Thank you to all the staff at Powerscourt for their great work in making it all run so well. The reception in the gardens to the dinner and the speeches in the Marble room just went so smoothly. Naomi and Mark said the day was way beyond their expectations, they just loved every minute of it.

Please pass on my sincere thanks to the staff of Feast. The food was amazing and we had lots of people comment on how delicious the meal was, so thank you to Peaches and the team who worked so hard to make it a day that will live long in our memories.

Again my sincere thanks to you it was a pleasure to work with you on such a special event.

Memorable

I just wanted to send a quick (and very belated) email of thanks to all at Feast catering for looking after us on the 12th April and making our wedding day so special. The staff were fantastic, and were so attentive to our guests, by constantly ensuring their drinks were topped up during the reception and being alert and sensitive to guests' dietary requirements during the dinner.

We also felt extremely well looked after when champagne and canapés followed us out to where the family photos were being taken. This was extremely thoughtful and a well needed refreshment for us!!

The dinner was absolutely delicious. Guests really commented on how good the lamb was so really happy that you were kind enough to incorporate it into menu b for us, it was fantastic.

Guests were extremely complimentary at how seamless the whole day was and this is largely due to yourselves at Feast for making our lives easy and taking control on the day so that we could relax and enjoy ourselves.

Many thanks again for helping to make our wedding day so memorable.

Magical

"Powerscourt provided a magical backdrop for our very special day. The gardens were magnificent. The service and food from Feast was first class. We, and all our guests enjoyed a day of first class service, wonderful memories and lots of fun and dancing. We would highly recommend it to anyone!"

Something Special

I can't praise you enough for all of your help.

From giving us options to where to put the band to what the room would look like on the day, you painted a very clear picture of what we would see upon our arrival on our wedding day. We would like to thank you for our tasting day as well, the food and options you gave us were amazing and you exceeded all of our expectations.

Upon arrival to Powerscourt Annette was waiting there to instruct the driver of our car where to park the car. Once we stepped out of the car she was there waiting with two glasses of champagne. The rest of the Feast staff were at hand to serve the rest of our guests.

As the dinner bell rang the Feast staff ushered our guests into the dining hall but Annette took us to one side and brought us to our own private room to have a few moments to ourself before our introduction. Inside the room was a bottle of champagne and again, our favorite canapé. Nice touch. Annette came to tell us that it was time to enter the hall but before she opened the door she told us exactly how to reach our table through all of the people. Throughout the meal Annette kept a close eye on us and checked every so often that we were ok. She arrived with the microphone each time we wished to make a speech so we didn't need to worry about timing.

We have received nothing but compliments about the venue, the service and especially the quality of the food.

Powerscourt Captured our Hearts

Our wedding at Powerscourt was everything we had dreamed of and so much more. From start to finish and right throughout the planning process, the team at Powerscourt proved to be outstanding.
The wonderful atmosphere throughout our day from the ceremony, to our drinks reception on the lawn, our fabulous evening filled with sumptuous food, music and lots of dancing provided us with our dream wedding.
Powerscourt as a venue is simply stunning. The beautiful views of the gardens and mountains are exceptional and these coupled with a magnificent ballroom and ceremony room provided us with a truly exquisite wedding day. Attention to detail was a priority for us, as it is with so many other couples and the team at Powerscourt provided us with a seamless day. A very special mention to Annette …… the event planner who was attentive, accurate and reassuring right throughout the process. She is a true professional and we cannot thank her enough for the wonderful job she did and how she managed our day. Also to Darrell whose assistance throughout our day was impeccable. Our guests wanted for nothing.
The food was absolutely delicious. Good food is something we both enjoy and we were not disappointed. The sumptuous menu provided by Feast lived up to our expectations and to that of our guests! The delicious lemon tart dessert still resonates with us, a testament to the quality provided by Feast.
Powerscourt captured our hearts right from the beginning and we cannot think of a more exquisite venue to hold such an important day in our lives. Our memories of our wedding day at Powerscourt was like a dream come true and truly a beautiful place to begin our married life together, every second of our day was flawless. Thank you.

Powerscourt House will not disappoint!

We felt very privileged to be the first couple to have a civil partnership in Powerscourt House and Gardens. We had the most fantastic day surrounded by what can only be described as the most awe-inspiring scenery and splendid period setting.

What was most appealing in our choice of Powerscourt House was the ability to maximise use of the entire house and gardens. The gardens were the perfect backdrop for formal photos while our guest were entertained outdoors at a champagne reception enjoying breathtaking views of the sculpted gardens and Wicklow mountains. The rooms in the house were of such generous proportion that we could use separate spaces to hold the ceremony, the banquet for our guests and have our DJ and band set up in advance. A quieter area for guests was available in the adjoining bar. Having the availability of separate spaces with sufficient capacity meant our guests moved seamlessly through the house without the necessity to "turn over" any of the rooms for the next part of the day.
The food and service provided by our choice of caterers Feast Catering was second-to-none. Our guests repeatedly commented how delicious the food was and how friendly and efficient Annette and her team were. We couldn't have asked for more from Feast, they were simply AMAZING and a major part of making our day the success it was.

Powerscourt House and Gardens is without comparison and in a league of its own. It is a truly a unique venue for any civil partnership or wedding, rest assured it will not disappoint !

Extraordinary!

there was not a single guest who didn’t remark on how stunning and elegant the room was, the efficiency and friendliness of the staff and of course how breath-taking the gardens are. I don’t believe there was a plate which was not emptied during the meal and I heard a number of guests even requested second helpings! Everything from the delicious canapés to the décor was complimented and we were so humbled by the entire experience. It was a magical day from our perspective and I hope it wasn’t too stressful on your end. Please accept our sincerest gratitude for making our day as extraordinary as it was.

A heartfelt thanks

'A heartfelt thank you from my new husband and I for what was the most perfect day. It exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding day. Feast and Powerscourt House were amazingly helpful both on the day and in the run up. We have had so many of our friends and family comment on the beautiful setting and excellent service. The highlights included, having our drinks reception outside over looking the gardens and seeing everyone enjoying the meal in the stunning ballroom. We are delighted we chose Powerscourt House.'
