I cannot thank the Muckross Park Hotel enough for such an amazing wedding day. From our very first meeting at the Hotel we felt at ease with Bernadette and Joanna. They went thru everything with us from menu options, wine tasting evening helping us with wedding cars bands to check out and Djs and were always contactable if we had a query. But apart from the amazing food that our guests are still talking about and very professional bar staff and friendly waiting staff, for me the nicest thing the Muckross Park did was bring me a plate of sandwiches nd a cup of tea when we arrived at the hotel and I hadn't even requested them. It might seem like a very small thing but I'm a diabetic and as all brides know the morning of the wedding is an early start, so for them to bring me those sandwiches and that cup of tea meant We didn't have to worry about my sugar levels dropping and We could just go on and enjoy our magical day with our family & friends. Thank you Muckross Park hotel.

We had our wedding in Muckross Park Hotel (MPH) on March 10th, 2017. From our first day meeting Bernadette to discuss having our wedding at MPH we were always impressed with the professionalism and willingness of the team to help and make sure we were comfortable with everything. Bernadette was our contact until 6 weeks before the wedding and was very helpful. James was the manager on the day, in the weeks running up to the wedding he could not have been more helpful and obliging with any requests we had. On the day, they made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. The food and service throughout the reception was exceptional. So many of our guests and family were complimentary of how well the hotel managed everything.

We really couldn't recommend MPH as a venue highly enough!

We had our wedding reception at Muckross Park Hotel in May this year. We wouldn't change a thing about the day. Everyone at the hotel was so attentive from our first visit to see the hotel right up to our day after. The guys in the hotel made everything so simple for us. Bernadette helped us to book the venue and for any questions we had at the start. She then handed over to our wedding co-ordinator Joanna. They were both fantastic. Joanna was there right until about 10pm (it could have been even later) on the night of the wedding. She made sure everything went smoothly. We then had a night manager with us until we finished up at the residents bar who was also brilliant. We were lucky with the weather on the day so we had our drinks reception outside - everyone is still talking about how beautiful it was. There was plenty prosecco and wine including in our package. The food was perfect - we had a few coeliacs and the staff were very attentive to them. We had a seafood tart for starter and they even made a few of them with gluten free crust for our coeliacs. The hotel rooms were beautiful. A lot of our guests enjoyed the spa the day after the wedding - they all loved it. There are lovely apartments on the grounds of the hotel which were great for some families with kids - and even a few groups of friends who wanted to do self catering for the day before and after the wedding. I could find absolutely no faults with the Muckross Park Hotel. I would recommend it to anyone looking to have their wedding reception in Killarney.

We had an amazing weekend at the Muckross Park Hotel from start to finish. The staff were fantastic, the food was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better setting. Our guests couldn't say enough about the hotel and the staff all weekend. We are so pleased that we decided to have our reception there! Bernie and Veerpal were more than helpful to us planning the wedding and on the day itself. Thank you so much Muckross Park Hotel!

What a magnificent place. The hotel was stunning and the staff were excellent. They were so professional and couldn't do enough. All my guests said this. The coordinater was amazing.. Thank you Medina. Nothing went wrong, and we were so relaxed and just enjoyed our day.
We had the Abbey suite for our wedding, and it was lovely as everything was there in the same room... dance floor, bar. It was personal to us. There was a self playing piano which was great.
The bridal suite was gorgeous and when we went back there were rose petals.. such a nice touch. Wine on arrival and chocs everyday.
The staff took care of everything we asked, including steaming my dress and numerous suites, as we had travelled from overseas.
The wedding food was top class and plentiful.
The spa was glorious ..I wish I could have stayed longer. Needless to say we will be back on our anniversary.
I left the guest book behind and they posted it to me. So wonderful..I'm still smiling.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at the wonderful Muckross Park Hotel in July. From the moment the planning began we were made to feel so special and no request was too big or too small. Our wedding day was amazing from start to finish. We spent three days in the hotel and all staff members were so welcoming and accommodating. The dedicated wedding team ensured that everything was seamless from start to finish as well as accommodating any requests we had to the very best of their ability. The vendors suggested by the hotel for hair and flowers were A1. A massive thank you to Bernie, Caroline, and James for all their help. It was a pleasure to meet such professional, warm, and helpful people.
We held our drinks reception in the Atrium and guests had the option of sitting outside also in the beautiful garden. The Valentia Suite for the evening reception was just beautiful! The hotel ensured that each detail we had requested was fulfilled. Everything ran smoothly on the day. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Muckross Park Hotel to any future brides and grooms to be to ensure they have the best experience on their special day!

We celebrated our wedding at The Muckross Park Hotel in July 2017. The whole experience from start to finish was truly amazing. We live abroad and only arrived in Ireland a couple of days before the wedding, so we were not sure how everything would work out without being there, but the professionalism and thoughtfulness of the staff ensured no details were overlooked. Communicating with the wedding team was never an issue despite the different time zones, as they were always willing to accommodate our requests.

Our ceremony was held in the atrium and when we saw the space on the day it was breathtaking. The venue certainly oozes character, and the wedding day decor provided by the hotel added to its charm and created our dream wedding venue. Thankfully, it didn't rain so we were able to host our drinks reception in the lawn which created an incredible atmosphere.

The service by the whole team was truly excellent from start to finish. Everything was well organized for the wedding dinner. The room was spectacular and full of character like the rest of the venue. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food tasted.

We would highly recommend The Muckross Park Hotel to any couple who want to have a real 5-star wedding experience.

Just wanted to thank all the staff at Muckross Park for making our wedding so special. From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were greeted with a 5 star service and smiles. The level of detail and attention we received was something else. We were not very happy with the food tasting at first but they ensured that by the end of the tasting we were satisfied. On the day of the wedding the food was absolutely superb and noted by a number of the guests. I wanted a Gin Bar and Cheese board which Muckross facilitated, while I provided the supplies, Muckross set the stations up to perfection and they were the talk of the wedding, well the Gin Bar was!!!!
We had both pre and post wedding receptions at the hotel and once again the service and food was fabulous. I must say Kevin and I felt like movie stars all weekend, as everyone was at out beck and call and everyone knew our names!! It made the whole affair very intimate.
Muckross provides a friendly yet very professional service which is exactly what you would expect when you are planning one of the most important days of your lives. The most important thing for me was that my guests were happy, full and merry and they were all the above. In fact they said it was one of the best wedding ever, if I don't mind saying so myself. But this was largely due to Muckross, I was able to sit back and relax and set the tone of the wedding while they did all the hard work.

Fantastic Venue. Great accommodations. Staff were warm and helpful. The Atrium was a great space for the wedding - the lighting was special and really enhanced the event. James was our Wedding coordinator on the day and did a wonderful job of keeping everything on track. It made for a fabulous weekend full of wonderful memories. Thanks to all at Muckross.

We had our wedding reception in Muckross Park in September 2017. Highly recommend this wedding venue. From our first dealings with the team they made it all very easy for us. We attended a wedding event in the hotel in January 2017 which I would also recommend to anybody considering their venue. The hotel did everything for us, from venue decorations to table plans to menus etc, it was very much all inclusive and there were no hidden extras. Staff (especially Bernie and Niall) highly professional, helpful and always available to us in the lead up. Meal was great, all guests very happy and no shortage of food/drinks on the night. Also a great set up with the residents' bar until 4am. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather on our big day and most guests were able to sit outside for the drinks reception and enjoy the sunshine. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and very much a 5 star standard. A lot of our guests stayed in the 2 bedroomed apartments on the grounds which are only a few minutes' walk from the main hotel. These are very handy for families and good value. The spa is lovely and handy if you've a rainy day the next day like we did! A few guests also used the free bikes and went for a cycle in the National Park. All in all cannot recommend Muckross Park highly enough for your wedding.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Muckross Park Hotel and we're absolutely delighted with the venue and service. The place was well organised, spotlessly clean and staff could not do enough for you and were exceptionally attentive! The staff were going above and beyond when my grandmother fell ill the day before the wedding, we had to change plans at the last minute as a result and they made a difficult thing seem easy. The food was absolutely brilliant and our guests commented on the quality. In particular one guest who is a severe coeliac was praising the fact how well he was looked after and the options available to him. Prior to the service the went through all aspects of the day with us including options depending on weather for the brides entrance, drinks reception and photos. Everything went to plan and our guests had a great time the day of the wedding and the breakfast following on the day after. We could not recommend the venue and especially the staff highly enough! We'll definitely be back down there again for a weekend break!

Big, Big, Big thank you to James, Caroline, Bernie and the team in Muckross Park Hotel for ensuring that our wedding on the 18th of November was the best day ever! Our wedding was everything that we hoped for and more! We were so lucky to be the first wedding held in the function room which is just WOW! James (our wedding coordinator) has the unique ability to allow you to follow your wedding vision but also add excelling ideas, advise etc! It was like having our own Franc! He is so relaxed and facilitated every request we had, it really made the planning process so enjoyable! He was off the day prior to our wedding and even rang me to make sure everything was OK on arrival. He is just amazing. The food was exceptional, our guests are still taking about how it and how everyone in the hotel went above and beyond to welcome the Cork contingent. Big thank you to Caroline for all her help with the logistics/rooms etc. We would highly recommend Muckross Park Hotel as a wedding venue and day after after after party venue as we well as we hosted both days there. It exceeded all expectation. 5 stars are not enough! Thank you so much! PS: Not a usual choice for a wedding but the turkey and ham was a massive hit with our guests.

We got married in Muckross Park Hotel in March 2017. From the first visit we knew this was the venue for us. The staff could not have been more helpful throughout, especially James and Caroline. The best was done to accommodate all our wishes. We had a church wedding followed by reception at Muckross Park Hotel. The room for the drinks reception was beautiful. The food at the meal was perfect. We both got ready at the venue on the morning of the wedding and the staff were very helpful with all the last minute running around on that morning, even sending up a lovely table of teas/ coffees, scones and pastries for the bridal party. We also had a party the night after the wedding in Jarvey's rest with lovely food and music. We highly recommend Muckross Park hotel, our day was perfect, thanks for everything :) Jackie & Andy

There aren't enough words to express how impressed we were with Muckross Park Hotel for our choice of wedding venue last September. We planned the wedding from China and finding a venue run by people we could trust was vital. From the first call with Bernie, we knew we were in the most professional of hands. Literally, Bernie never said no to us. All of our requests, she pulled off and even did so while advising us on the best way to save costs. She was a superstar from the beginning in terms of planning. Joanna stepped in for the logistics and organisation in the run up to our wedding and by the day of the wedding, she was one of the faces I was most excited to see when we arrived at the hotel. Both Julien and I felt like we had a friend looking out for us. She was professional, warm, running everything with absolute precision and the highest of standards, and yet somehow, she still seemed to enjoy herself. With Joanna and in fact all of the Muckross Park Hotel Staff manage a wedding reception, you are absolutely in the best of hands.
The reception was decorated really really beautifully, full of little touches to make it special, the food was absolutely sublime and we had very high standards for this with somewhat specific requests.
We will return to Muckross Park Hotel time and time again to visit everyone and enjoy the stunning facilities. I HIGHLY recommend Muckross Park Hotel for your wedding or any occasion. Sincere thanks to you all.

To all the wondeful management and staff at the Muckross Park hotel. Both Kieran and I would like to thank you all for making our wedding day so magical. We really enjoyed every minute. The food, accomadation and service was out standing. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend your hotel to anyone who is getting married or looking to get away. Thank you to Bernie for all her help and accomdating our wishes and staying in touch throughout the year and making planning a wedding so far away from Australia easy. Finally a huge thank you to Joanna Rosiak our amazing wedding coordinator who put in so much time, effort, and hard work in ensuring every thing was absolutely perfect and making everyone feel so welcome and for looking after us all.
