Facilities and Capacity

Martinstown House is home to a number of indoor and outdoor event spaces. You can host your civil ceremony in the authentic, semi-covered barn. Guests are seated in the rustic barn that features a vintage chandelier. The altar is positioned under a corrugated awning and exposed stone backdrop. Bessie the Tea Caravan is a wonderful addition to any post-ceremony event or reception. This vintage campervan can be arranged to serve tea, coffee, beer, and more on the lawn. Afterward, you can host drinks and dinner in a vintage marquee provided by the owners. This spacious tent has a capacity for between 180 and 240 guests. It is carpeted and comes complete with permanent bathrooms. This state-of-the-art marquee has a staging area and is completely furnished with everything from drapes to lighting, plants, lanterns, and ladders. Intimate events and micro weddings for up to 60 seated guests are made possible inside the main house. The Drawing Room is characterised by antique furnishings, plush interiors, and timeless sophistication. The Dining Room can hold up to 22 people comfortably. These elegantly appointed rooms are also suitable for civil ceremonies.

Services Offered

Martinstown House is available for exclusive hire for wedding occasions. Owners Edward and Róisín Booth lead a dedicated, family-oriented team. Their son Andrew is head chef and he will design customised menus to suit your tastes and wedding theme. A snapshot of offerings includes canapés, shared grazing tables, antipasto tables, and three-course plated meals. His wife Jessica is the in-house wedding coordinator and she delights in collaborating with to-be-weds to make their dreams a reality. They host a limited number of weddings each year to ensure that every couple gets the attention and focus that their unique event deserves. Open days and private tours are offered to prospective newlyweds who are seeking an unforgettable experience in a charming setting.

Accommodation

The main house at Martinstown House has a number of luxurious guest rooms. The Bird Room features a full-length Victorian mirror, a spacious bathroom with an extra big bath, and a balcony. The main house sleeps up to 14 guests in ensuite rooms. Each room boasts a classic aesthetic with modern accents, ambient lighting, and pristine paintwork. Glamping is available, so guests can enjoy a relaxed festival-style stay in 10 deluxe bell tents complete with comfortable bedding and Indian-inspired interiors.
