About
Martello Tower Sutton is a historic holiday home available for wedding rentals, located on the north coastline of Dublin Bay in Red Rock, Sutton. Built in 1804 to protect Ireland from Napoleon Bonaparte, the Tower offers breathtaking views of the bay and North Bull Island. This was the first tower built in Ireland, one of 21 in Dublin and 50 in the country, but Martello Tower Sutton is the only one you can rent for your special day.
Facilities and Capacity
The Tower has been refurbished, offering a truly unique option for the night of your wedding or a honeymoon escape. Two bedrooms and a bathroom provide modern comfort and amenities on the lower level of the building. On the central level, you can recline in the living area and look out from the balcony at the ships as they pass. A modern kitchen and dining room on the roof level offer an exceptional 360° view of the bay, where you and your partner can share a toast.
Services Offered
The Martello Tower is a self-catered holiday accommodation, but you can avail of a chef service from Sarah Caldwell if you desire. You’ll receive a glass of champagne upon your arrival, as well as a selection of teas, coffees, wines, and bread and butter to ease you into your stay. The height of luxury, the Tower offers a superb option for couples looking for a truly romantic and private place to stay. Gated parking gives you special access to the Tower, while WiFi lets you keep in contact with the outside world as much or as little as you like. If you’re craving a once-in-a-lifetime getaway spot, Martello Tower Sutton might be just what you’re looking for.
