Ghan House in Medieval Carlingford is an eighteenth century country house set within walled grounds where exclusive use of the whole house and grounds makes for an ideal wedding venue.

Ghan House is just an hours drive from Dublin and Belfast with views of Carlingford Lough , Slieve Foy mountain & The mountains of Mourne.

For weddings up to 60 guests where the unique atmosphere of a Georgian House lends itself to a very sociable day, we offer:

• Champagne reception on the lawns – overlooked by the adjacent Heritage Centre which is also licensed for Civil Ceremonies for up to 60 guests. Ghan House has also held Civil Ceremonies for up to 50 guests.

The Drawing Room holds up to 60 guests and has a fully tuned grand Piano. There are magnificent views of Slieve Foy, the mountains of Mourne and the castellated walled gardens of Ghan House .
Later on the band or DJ sets up in the ballroom.
