Close Your Eyes and Imagine your Wedding Day:

The meandering labyrinth of buildings and pathways at Barnabrow beckon guests to explore. They delight in the nooks and crannies that they unearth and are surprised by the occasional fairy that passes them by. Sometimes this is the effect of the champagne that they are sipping on the deck that overlooks East Cork’s rolling countryside, with distant glimpses of Ballycotton Bay. They are relaxing now, after the exchange of vows, which was held in the Fairy Grove, beneath tall trees that dappled the sunlight to make the whole ceremony look like an Impressionist painting.

The canapes prepared by Michelin star-trained chef, Stuart Bowes, tantalise the palate and promise of the wedding feast to come. Your guests are charmed; they wonder at your cleverness to have found such a secret and to have brought them here. The tension of the past months begins to melt – your serene visage is momentarily glimpsed by a discreet photographer and is preserved forever. You look beautiful.

Oh Happy Days!

AVOID!! Would have been better off going to the court house

The owner is dreadful to deal with and will make you feel absolutely awful. No professionalism or decorum. Treated myself and my family like children and took her own sorrows out on us. Do NOT recommend for any type of wedding.

Wonderful Wedding

We were fortunate to be invited to dear friends daughters wedding and 5 day stay at this lovely location! It is located in the countryside amongst rolling green hills, the smell of clover and adorable westie pups along with some other well cared for farm animals that were a delight to visit with! The manor home, or reception area was something out of a young brides dream wedding! To have cottages for family and friends to stay and visit with and with the lovely grounds, made this a dream come true! The reception was Devine..food so tasty we needed to get some recipes from the chef whom gladly shared! The owner was a lovely woman whom walked around making sure all was well! Lovely touch! This made our trip so memorable, thank you all Barnabrow House!! A most memorable event!!

Fabulous Wedding Venue

We had our wedding here recently, and had the most amazing day. It really is a beautiful wedding venue, and we were lucky enough to have the weather on our side as well. We had our civil ceremony here also, in the conservatory, which was perfect. Because we were fortunate enough that the sun was splitting the stones, everyone was able to be out on the decking for the drinks reception which was fantastic. Our photographer took a lot of photos on the grounds, but we also went to other beautiful locations for photos which are very close by. All of our guests raved about all of the food, which was delicious. We had a few vegans, and they also said that each of the courses they received was more delicious than the last. The service on the day was very good. But the wedding coordinator, Mary, was especially good in the lead up to the wedding. Instead of a late bar, we were able to help ourselves (to prepaid drinks) from 1.30am onwards, and it was no problem for everyone to stay up in the late bar area as late as we wanted. All in all, no complaints, we had the best day ever, and would highly recommend Barnabrow as a wedding venue :)

The Best Wedding Venue

We recently had our wedding there over the bank holiday weekend, and we chose this venue a year ago for our wedding, we booked it for 2 nights and had around 100 people, and we both were so delighted with the venue and our choice. The food was unreal and the service was second to none. The staff, Mary, Geraldine, Stuart (the Chef) were very good in helping us organize things especially we were doing this abroad. If you are looking for a small intimate wedding with close family and friends, then this is definitely the place for it. We cannot recommend Barnabrow more highly for such a occasion.
