Perfect Location

When we got engaged we went looking for venues to get married in. Once we visited Aherlow House Hotel we knew we found our prefect venue. The location of Aherlow House Hotel is breath-taking and the staff are so helpful especially the wedding team Eve. The whole day ran so smoothly due to the professionalism of the staff at Aherlow House Hotel, we could not have asked for a more prefect day. Friends and family continue to comment about what a wonderful day it was. We always feel so welcome and at home when we visit Aherlow House Hotel and it will always hav a secial place in our hearts.

Ticked all the Boxes!

I can't think of anywhere else I would have liked to have our wedding. This hotel ticked all the boxes: scenery, great food, great location, amazing staff, this hotel has it all. From start to finish the staff were amazing & really helped take the stress out of organizing our day. Eve was in touch with us regulary in the lead up to the wedding and couldn't do more for us. Our guests had nothing but good things to say either, they loved the food, location & they thought the staff were fabulous. We had our ceremony on the veranda and it was so picturesque having the Galtee Mountains as a backdrop. We had a BBQ the day after on the veranda and it was lovely to sit back, relax and enjoy the view after the wedding celebrations. Our wedding day at the Aherlow House Hotel was perfect! Fabulous Wedding Weekend

1000 thank you’s to the AHH team for our fabulous wedding weekend. We could not have asked for a better day. We had the time our lives and we wish we could do it again! Everyone at the hotel is always willing to help, no matter what request, large or small. The level of detail that goes into the event organising is incredible and they make sure that everything is perfect on the day. There is a wealth of experience in the events team and they are extremely capable and confident people. From sourcing local suppliers to running the timing of the night. Once all the planning was done, we knew that we could relax and enjoy the day. What a fantastic venue! Eve & Caroline, thank you so much I cannot speak highly enough of you guys. All our guests felt welcome from Ireland and Australia and everywhere in between. Waking up in the bridal suite with the view of the snow covered mountains was amazing! Thank you again. J&M.

Highly Recommend Aherlow House

From the moment we met Eve, Caroline and the team we knew Aherlow House Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Eve was there for every phone-call and email to ensure everything would go as we had planned. Eve recommends some great suppliers and made the planning process much easier. We had a menu taster evening and all the food was amazing. When the big day came I knew the last thing I needed to worry about was the hotel. When we arrived, staff were there to greet us with champagne and umbrellas. I cannot fault any of the staff in Aherlow, from the canapes to the late-night nibbles all the food was superb! Even the breakfast was brought to the bridal suite the next morning! Our guests stayed in the hotel rooms and in the chalets and were blown away by the amazing views. I would highly recommend Aherlow House to anyone looking for a wedding venue

Great Day had by All

scenery and backdrop of the Galtee Mountains is what initially drew us to Aherlow as a venue choice for our wedding reception.From the very beginning we were always made to feel so welcome by all the staff there.The support and assistance offered by Eve and Caroline in organising our special day, was second to none. Any request or query we had was always addressed promptly and efficiently.The actual day itself was nothing short of amazing. The food, service and flow of the day was perfect.. Guests are STILL talking about the food, all the staff and service on the day! Our meal was amazing.The food was so tasty, served hot and in plentiful supply! For us it could not have gone any better and was just perfect. Big thanks again to all the team in Aherlow for a magical day !! Viv & Paul x

Such a Special Day!!

What an amazing time we had in Aherlow House Hotel. Eve our Weddings & Events Manager made the entire wedding planning process most enjoyable and smooth! The level of detail shown by Eve and her team was outstanding. The Lodges on the grounds enabled our guests time to spend in a relaxed atmosphere the night before overlooking the picturesque Galtee Mountains, a setting that is so indescribably stunning. The staff were extremely professional throughout the weekend. Eve had everything organised to perfection. We were blessed with the weather. The Arrival's Reception was hosted out on the Veranda with the most breath-taking views, quite simply enchanting. The Diarmuid & Grainne Suite was beautifully decorated. The Wedding Meal was absolutely delicious and the candy cart went down a real treat with the kids and adults too! We are without a doubt thrilled to have had our Special Day at Aherlow House Hotel, they looked after us from the moment we booked right through to our Special Day! If you are thinking of a scenic venue with service and food to match look no further!

Beautiful Senery

"Gosh, where do I start.....
When we set out to plan our Special Day we knew exactly what venue we wanted because of the most beautiful scenery but along with that came the most kind hearted people that would help make our day more special. No problem was ever too big or small especially for Eve who was always only an email or phone-call away and always seemed to put us at ease in a matter of minutes. Our day went without a hitch, the food was outstanding and everything just seemed to flow with ease. A special thanks from the bottom of our hearts to everyone in Aherlow House who helped make our day one to remember.....love Therese and Kieran x

Choose Aherlow

We had our wedding party here on Saturday 29th June 2019. The day we saw Aherlow House we loved it. The location & setting is beautiful. The staff was so helpful & friendly. It was clear to see how dedicated and hard working they are as our day ran so smoothly. Eve the Events manager was lovely to deal with & very organised with regular emails. I met her a week before the wedding with small details & on the day she had everything in its place. We got a beautiful sunny day so our guests enjoyed the terrace area. The food was so tasty and guests commented on the big portion sizes. It was all so perfect including the decor in the function room. We would highly recommend Aherlow House to couples getting married. It was just perfect. Thanks to all in Aherlow for your kindness and hard work. You helped us to have the best day of our lives!
I can't wait to return again for a visit.

Great Day

“Pat and I had our civil ceremony in Aherlow House and we would like to thank everyone especially Eve who we met at the start of last year and helped us all the way to our Wedding Day on 16th March 2019. Eve is a kind, friendly, bubbly person. Anything I needed Eve helped, no stone left unturned and she answered all my emails and there was a lot! We also like to say a huge thanks to the two girls Sinead and Caroline who were outstanding from Friday Night and especially on the Saturday our Wedding Day. They are two bubbly, friendly girls and always had a smile on their faces, asking throughout the day to ensure I was happy with everything from start to finish. Ye are one in a million girls. Grainne at Front Desk, thanks for bringing up the drink to settle my nerves, you are a star. The food was fantastic, all down to the Chef’s, Kitchen, Floor and Bar Staff, you were all so helpful, nothing was trouble to you. I would recommend Aherlow House for a Wedding whether you are having a civil ceremony or having the meal there, it is just out of this world. Going to miss the emails and calls but we will be up for dinner soon, thanks again, Bridget & Pat Flood

The Best Day

Where to begin with our experience in Aherlow House, from the moment we arrived on the day to view the venue and we met with Eve. I think we both knew then this was the place we wanted to get married in. Every single person that we met and dealt with couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating to us. It was actually sad when saying goodbye to everyone the day after the wedding, that's how welcoming all the staff make you feel. Eve was always there at the end of the phone or email, always willing to help and give ideas which we loved getting. The whole hotel was amazing, the views, the food and the rooms. Everything I can't recommend this hotel enough. I believe once you go for a viewing ye will fall in love with the place & the staff. We can't thank everyone in Aherlow House enough for everything during our planning. Nothing was left out, all our guests commented on how nice the food was, the staff were and everything really about the hotel. Thank you so much for everything from The Murphy-Fahey's xx

Beautiful Hotel

We got married on the 17th August 2018, it was so relaxed and beautiful. Dealing with Eve, Caroline and staff throughout the planning was so straight forward. Any questions we had were answered ASAP and they were all so helpful. Food was beautiful, views were spectacular and the hotel was tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of roads, towns and cities. Their cabins are fab and roomy. Balcony bedroom is especially comfortable and spacious. We were so delighted to be able to have our Wedding in Aherlow House. Thank you for making our Wedding Day special.
