We have been taking a look at extreme themes from all over the world and some great photographers have shared some of their themed wedding shoots with us to show how couples can embrace their passion or hobby into their wedding day.
Twilight

Angry Birds
Yes there really has been an Angry Birds themed wedding shoot. This stunning and quirky photo shoot was put together by Live View Studios. Brent of Live View Studios shares his ideas behind the shoot:
“This is our inspirational take on the popular game, Angry Birds, crafted into a beautiful, elegant wedding. With Angry Birds being with one of the top 10 apps and with one billion downloads as of May this past year, we thought, why not create a wedding inspired from the game? We used stone, brick, glass, wood and feathers, and a bold primary colour palette to create this rustic couture wedding with slingshot pens, tumbled concrete structures, a gold crown and golden eggs, a treasure chest for notes written by guests and more.”
“The ceremony area was set with a backdrop of ombre arranged origami birds with feathers and florals arranged in blue mason jars lining the aisle. Vintage trolley carts (similar to the ones in the game) served as a cake stand and coffee table. Glass plates and napkins accented with a crown napkin ring sat atop a bold red linen & nests with golden eggs served as table place settings. The cake featured a hand painted grass design on the bottom tier, and the top tier was embossed with a brick texture.

James Bond — Skyfall
For a wedding day with the wow-factor, a stylish James Bond theme will be cool and stylish. Think of having wedding guests dressed in tuxedos, Aston Martins for the bridal party and a casino themed reception. Linda of Linda Scannell Photography tells us more:
“Taken at an art gallery, an Aston Martin, a black tie theme, some stylish jewellery and handbags. Add an elegant cake, structural flowers, a poker table and a few vodka martinis, shaken not stirred, and you have the perfect recipe for an elegant James Bond-inspired wedding shoot. Styled by Louise Harris from Warwickshire Wedding Planner, we spent a fabulous autumn day photographing our bride and groom models at Compton Verney.
“The former stately home is set in the heart of the English countryside, giving me loads of potential for dramatic photographs both indoors and out. We rounded off the shoot in true Bond style with some canapés and cocktails around a poker table for that casino feel.”
