The first impression a guest has of a wedding, comes even before the event itself; through the wedding invitation. It should come as no surprise therefore, just how important the invites really are.

As far as wedding invitations are concerned, it is essential to have a clear idea of what direction you are planning on taking. For example, will you be sending save the date cards with an RSVP attached? Or will you simply send the bog standard invites? As a couple, you should establish whether you want to include a short and romantic verse of your favourite poem, or if you simply wish to print a straightforward invite which goes along the lines of “You are honourably invited to...”
