“When planning our wedding, I knew from the start that I didn’t want a ‘conventional’ bouquet. Our outdoor wedding already had an amazing floral backdrop and I didn’t want my most important accessory to get lost in amongst all of the scenery.



Through my research, I discovered the concept of Brooch Bouquets. I was immediately convinced – the opportunity to create a bespoke, meaningful, coordinated piece that could be passed down through the generations made perfect sense to me.



I contacted Karen with my vision. Immediately, she understood exactly what was important to me and which elements of my life, relationship and family should be incorporated into my bouquet. For my piece, I wanted to include my wedding colours (turquoise and lilac), my love of animals, heirloom pieces from family and neutral brooches involving pearl and diamond effects.



Whilst I built up my collection of brooches, Karen worked tirelessly to source incredibly detailed additions to my bouquet. For example, I had explained that I was going to miss our dog as we were travelling abroad for the ceremony. Karen then presented me with a stunning, silver ‘Beagle’ brooch that was later attached to the handle of my bouquet. This still makes me smile now.



I was kept informed at all stages of the design and I was fully confident that Karen not only knew exactly what I wanted but was clearly incredibly competent with her knowledge and flawless in the execution of her skills. When my bouquet arrived, I was floored. Even having seen the ‘in progress’ photos, I could not get over the finished product. It was everything I had dreamed of and more.



During our wedding, I received so many compliments on my brooch bouquet. Even now, when people see our photographs, it is often one of the first things commented on. I am over the moon that, now having a daughter, one day she has the option to have my ‘something new’ as her ‘something old.’

Any bride out there looking for a Brooch Bouquet, you need to go to Karen, she is a fab lady with an Amazing talent, my Bouqet was just stunning, my Bridesmaids had 2 gorgous flower bouquet with brooches to match, as wel as that Karen made my Mam a fab brooch to match in. Also a cute lil petal basket for my flowergirl and matching brooch corsages, and my new hubby and his best man were very lush looking with thier matching Corsages.
