What is the typical checklist for a wedding?
To start, you'll notice our Checklist is neatly organised with time frames so you can get a clear view of when you should be completing each of your many wedding tasks. To give you an idea, we recommend that 10-12 months prior to your big day you announce your engagement, set a wedding budget, start your guest list, and research venues. From 7 to 9 months prior, we recommend reserving rooms for your guests, contacting florists and decorators, and looking at wedding invitations. Of course this is only a small sample of the many tasks, but our interactive Checklist will make it all go smoothly.

How do I print my wedding checklist?
Easy! When you access your Checklist from your Hitched account, in the upper right hand corner you'll see two buttons: Download and Print. You can choose whichever option is best for you.

How can I keep track of my wedding tasks?
It couldn't be any easier than with our Checklist. We've grouped all of your tasks into timeframes and categories, such as ceremony, legal, and invitations. As you complete your tasks, on the left hand side, you'll see a section called Status, which is where you'll be able to view your completed and pending tasks. Within each task you can also assign a budget and supplier to keep every detail accounted for.

Which tasks should I add to my wedding Checklist?
You may find that all the tasks you need are already on the Checklist we put together for you. However, since every wedding is unique, you may want to add different tasks. Perhaps you'd like to get special gifts for certain family members or friends, or you may want to find entertainment for your banquet. The sky is the limit, you can add anything that comes to mind.
